The desk in my picture that has recently gotten some attention on my main picture, means so much to me.

My dad bought me this desk when I turned 19 because I told him I wanted to draw comics.  It's a bit beaten up from moving it around, but if given the chance to buy a new desk, I wouldn't do it.

It takes balls for your dad to let you pursue your dream as a comic artist and not a nurse a or something, especially someone that was in my circumstance :)  I love you Dad!

Beautiful touching story, Siya. ...Thank you for sharing...
..Same here, but no desk for me....... My Father had dreams of me to be a doctor or a lawyer, ....but he allowed and still supported my wish to be an artist.......I am very happy that he lived long enough to see my success. ....

i applaud your dad for encouraging and supporting your dreams. Without that encouragement who knows where our lil siya would be.  From what i can see your art touches a lot of people, me included. You have a gift and i think your dad realized that.  Keep up the great work SIYA

It's pretty cool that your Dad did that for you...but your art is awesome!  So it must have been a no-brainer for him.  Did you do all of that work for Marvel?  That's really incredible......Best,....TB..
