Hello boyses and girlses!

It's been decidedly ages since we've posted a blog, but we've been mega busy making sure we had worthwhile news. And we do!

Firstly, it gives us great pleasure to announce the addition of James Foster to Nerve Centre on lead guitar. After gruelling auditions, myself and Hans are happy to welcome James into the madness of Nerve Centre, and look forward to rocking out with him!

Also, we'd like to welcome Glenn Vogt into the band on bass. Glenn has agreed to temp for us on bass for gigs until we find a permanent member.

Our next gig is at Aston University's gig in aid of the charity 'Love Music, Hate Racism' on 21st November. It's only £1 in with the money going directly to LMHR (www.lovemusichateracism.com).

We're also super-mega-excited to announce the launch of our EP, entitled 'The Droids You're Looking For' on the 4th of December. What's super-mega-exciting about it is that it will be on iTunes, and AmazonMP3, and Napster. This makes Nerve Centre the first Aston band to release anything on these sites. The EP will also be available on limited edition CD at gigs. The download edition will feature the three tracks on our myspace (www.myspace.com/nervecentremusic), and the CD will contain an extra track called 'Self Confessed'. All tracks were recorded at Circle Studios (www.myspace.com/circlestudios)

We of course can't release anything without a gig so we'll be playing the prestigious Catapult Club at Bar Academy on 4th December. This is an important date for us beacuse it's also our first birthday! So this of course means we'll have birthday cake! Tickets are £4 or £5 on the door. Message me if you want some! :-)

I told you we had worthwhile news, and I think that's more than enough!

Myself and Hans would like to thank you all so much for your continued support.

Love, peace, and pacman,

Ronan,
Nerve Centre.
