How can we possibly define Love?

When people think of love the first thing that seems to come to mind is couples. This one-on-one relationship between two humans can be quite remarkable and very lovely, but Love is so much more than an intimate sharing between two people.

Let Reclaim Love challenge some misconceptions about what love is, with a short love poem from a 14th century Sufi poet by the name of Hafiz,

                      "Even after all this time,

The sun never says to the Earth,

                              'You owe me'

Look what happens with a love like this.

                       It lights the whole sky"

This is a favourite piece of poetry of Reclaim love, which shows the power of giving and sharing our infinite gifts with all of life. The power of this selfless sharing is what shines the brightest on this planet.

Reclaim Love wants to thank also the endless giving by This Mother Earth. She is most generous in giving us everything we have despite the fact that sometimes Her children don't even spare Her a thought, or treat Her with the respect and gratitude that She deserves.

We are O-I-L, One In Love, Reclaim Love, Reclaim your Heart!

In Greek mythology, Eros, the God of love had power over all forms of attraction, even gravity; this shows where Hafiz may have developed his thoughts from...

For me, love is forming attachments, wherever that attachment is found, and however strong that attachment is.
With humans, I hope that all attachments can be as strong and inumerable as possible, and therefore have an even greater chance of extinguishing any feelings of hate that would dare to sprout from our unenlightened selves :D

The unconditional love of nature is not fluffy. Nor is it at all sentimental.

Unconditional Love demands that one sees and lives the truth. To not do so invites disaster.

Truth is reality, not a human vision. That is merely a human projection.

Nature gives everything that lives what ever it needs to reach it's full potential. Nature shares rather than hoards. Nature creates no waste. Natures giving is equal to all that receive.

This is reality. This is truth.

However, when nature is not respected, disaster ensues. When adults exploit children for their psychological, emotional, ideological, religious and commercial wants, disaster ensues. When those who have been harmed seek to forgive those who harm, before they have neutralised and ceased that which harms, disaster ensues.

Natures compassion is vast, yet never sentimental.

What we know will feed us, what we believe will kill us us, because belief is a projection, and projection is not reality.

The love of a couple is nothing but selfish narcissism if it does not empower the community of life. There is no real love in a society that wars, that allows greed to prevail, that harms the children of life, only infatuation and the desire of wants.

We are of nature, yet we are not of natures unconditional love until we live that love in all our daily actions.
