	Karen Karen Ortiz	Hello Marlee, My daughter bought your book you have really been an inspiration to her she just loves you. I really enjoyed reading your book and you sure don't let being deaf stopped you from doing what you want, your wonderful. I come from a family with nerve deafness and my mother was almost completely deaf and she let it control her life I hate to admit it but my mothers attitude has rubbed off on me and I tend to run from life sometimes our awareness in the hard of hearing world was so small. My daughter Jessica is my inspiration she's taught me alot she also has a hearing loss but she has opened my eyes to a bigger world.  My daughter wanted me to read your book to help me realize I can do whatever I want to do if I set my mind to it don't let my hearing stop me. I have 3 wonderful children I am so proud of them they turned out to be the Best in my eyes. My 2 girls graduated from Fresno State and my son is an EMT and wants to join the military.  I just wanted you to know I thought your book was so very good and it did open my eyes and mind for a better future.
