I think we're all pretty stoked on playing again. I'm actually pretty surprised at how quickly things are coming back to us. We've had a handful of practices so far and we've relearned the five new songs we wrote two years ago. We're going to start putting vocals to them real soon. Things may change a bit in the vocal department....Jesse doesn't want to sing anymore so Graham and I will be holding down the vocal fort. That will probably change the way we write/structure vocals because there are a lot of parts in our songs that are damn near impossible for Graham and I to sing to that Jesse can....so without Jesse singing we'll have to take a fresh look at how we structure vocal parts. I'm personally really looking forward to re-thinking our vocals....listening back to our old stuff it feels way too sporadic and packed with vocals. I'm hoping we can make our new vocal patterns more interesting and more memorable/discernible. We'll see what happens! More updates will come soon I'm sure. We're looking forward to getting into the studio and putting out a new record!
