TNA SUPERSTARS AND SPORTS CELEBRITIES MAKE TRISTAR EVENT A SUCCESS By Charles Rice
Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) broke bread with some of the best in the sports world this past weekend in Houston at TRISTAR Collectors Show at the George R. Brown Convention Center.
While the crowds were large for such notable athletes like football Hall of Fame running back and former Heisman Trophy winner, Earl Campbell or Cardinals Hall of Fame outfielder and member of the 3,000 hit club, Lou Brock; fans came out in numbers to see the stars of TNA. Making special appearances were "Big Sexy" Kevin Nash, one half of the "Beautiful People" Angelina Love, and former Playboy cover girl and current manager of the Rock N' Rave Infection, Christy Hemme. Other notable appearances included MLB star Lance Berkman, NFL quarterback Vince Young, NFL star Mario Williams and many others.
After the three-day show many TNA fans walked away with smiles on their faces. Not only did many of them get to meet some of their favorite TNA stars and have their new trading cards signed by them, but some were lucky enough to win tickets to Victory Road which will be broadcasted live on Pay-Per-View from Houston on July 13th. To top it all off, one lucky fan won not only two tickets to the Pay-Per-View, but also backstage passes.
