It's been a while since I blogged here on MySpace and the reason for that is I didn't exactly have anything happen that was blog-worthy. But I made me a resolution this year: write me more blogs on MySpace. On that note, let me get started fulfilling that resolution.
It's a new year and new things are starting to change for us in the world. We got a new president whom I'm certain will bring fresh ideas into the White House. I'm prepped for the digital TV transition next month. And if that's not enough, I'm turning 21 years old in March and I'm excited, but I'm not going to drink on my birthday (drinking too much champagne on New Year's gave me a wake-up call). I hope to get started on making some money so I can get into film school and regular college (particularly in New York, I have nothing against Baltimore colleges, but I've went to New York in my senior year in high school and it was an awesome life-changing experience).
As I leave you tonight, I like to wax classic poetic to you for all you nightowls out there. It's a line from "Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan" (unusual choice, but it's a cool quote). "It's like this... We live in claustrophobia, the land of steel & concrete. Trapped by dark waters. There is no escape. Nor do we want it. We've come to thrive on it and each other. You can't get the adrenaline pumpin' without the terror, good people... I love this town." Sure, it may come off as a little dark, but, it sets a mood when night falls.
