Well, I'm excited, honored and flattered.
There are now two more instances where I can be seen without actually being there myself!
1.) There is a larger-then-life scale portrait painting of me (rocking out with my guitar) hanging at the new Mississippi Studios. It's painted by Alexander Rokoff, a neighbor and friend, and a man who has the same passion for green chile that I have. He's spent some time doing portraits of some of the locals in the neighborhood here (including the large, nekkid Storm Large painting that hung at MS prior to mine), as well as his own original art. Check him:
http://www.rokoffstudio.com.
2.) The new CD by
The Minus Five, Killingsworth, in addition to featuring the fine music of Scott McCaughey, Peter Buck and some of Portland's best players (including Little Sue and Ezra Holbrook), also features a front cover filled with photographs of familiar Portland signs, bars, landmarks, and the like. At the top of the cover, 4th from left, is a photo of me standing in front of the Laurelthirst Pub. Fitting. I may not PLAY on the disc, but I am "on" it.

How ironic, I'm iconic!
Thanks, friends!
