Nei hou ma ///

As previous visual evidence suggests: I love alleys. There is an unsung beauty that intrigues mine eyes as I embark down a neglected capillary of the city's streets. Alley's represent a backside to urban life, a behind the scenes mentality that gets me juiced.

Chinatown (SF style, anyway), has the most incredible eye-fodder when it comes to the visual aspect of backstreets. Color in addition to the ebb and flow of pedestrian traffic, grit, grime and arcane, forgotten components of infrastructure are laid out in plain sight for those who seek it out.

There are only a handful of these backside paved pathways within Chinatown, all of them are a true sight that a camera will never to this day, do justice. I did my best. A few of these clicks are from the market hubbub of Stockton Street: the true Chinatown, Grant Street is for tourists . . .

Don't ever ignore curiosity, it's one of the many ingredients found in the fountain of youth.

Stay gold,
Bones

I also wanted to take flicks of chinatown over here in NY ( the cold weather is almost leaving ) so I feel want you mean. The weather has been getting real nice in NYC lately so I myself will be on a excursion real soon.
Awesome color tones and great compositions in all the photos.
Mad props!!!

you never do less than an absolutely beautiful, absolutely breathtaking, absolutely flattering, absolutely honest, absolutely poetic job... you are the vessel that all beautiful things in waiting long for. because you find it... whilst others are too busy bogged up in ephemera.

kudos, BONEZ.

Nice preface. Sounds like you just wrote your artist statement down for this series. I love 008 and the empty chair and 004 looks like a Kim Cogan painting.
