Hey everyone!
You've probably noticed that we've been on a bit of a break since we recorded Fireworks and Hit The Road back in July. This is because everyone has been away on their holidays, and we'd arranged them all at different dates, so we haven't been able to do much. Starting on the 20th, our break will be over. By then, we'll have written violin parts for all our songs, and can start gigging again.

On the 25th, we'll be playing at the Madhouse for Forgetting Gravity's EP launch. This is gonna be sick, so come on down and show your support. Tickets are only £4, and the bands are amazing. Check out Forgetting Gravity at myspace.com/forgettinggravity, and Smile Like Texas at myspace.com/smileliketexasuk. We can't wait!

The day after that, the 26th, we're gonna be busking in Birmingham City Centre pretty much all day from 1:00pm, as long as it's not raining. We'll be outside HMV, which is near the bullring. Come see us if you're up for a free gig on the street! You might even get a free CD! Make sure you come say hello if you see us when we're on our half hour breaks because we love talking!

On the 28th, we're heading up to Greenbelt, where we're going to be busking for three days all around the festival. We're well stoked about this, too, so if you're there, look out for us!

On the 17th September, we have a gig at the new O2 Academy in Birmingham, again with Forgetting Gravity, but also Tempting Rosie, an awesome ska band. You can check them out at myspace.com/temptingrosie. They're well worth a listen!

You might have heard Fireworks on Kerrang! Radio Unsigned lately, too. We should be doing an acoustic session on there soon, so we'll keep you posted about that too. We're pretty stoked.

Fireworks and Hit The Road should be on iTunes pretty soon, so keep checking our page for updates about that. They've taken a little longer than they should for some reason, but we'll get that sorted for you as soon as we can! We never got to say a thanks to Liam from Allbright, because we've been too busy to post and stuff. He produced the songs for us, and we really enjoyed working with him. You can hear him singing near the end of Hit The Road, and can check Allbright out at myspace.com/allbright. Thanks to the whole of Allbright for really supporting us, and helping us out. We owe them one!

We hope that's cleared a few things up about why we haven't been around. Take care!

Faded Cadence.
