I'm SO excited that Tampa Theatre booked REPO! THE GENETIC OPERA. Even though the opening is only a week away, I know REPO fans will be tickled. I saw it at the Enzian in Orlando, and worked with Tampa Theatre to get it in my neck of the woods. There's even going to be a costume parade. REPO! HOORAY!

REPO! THE GENETIC OPERA
EXCLUSIVE ENGAGEMENT! December 5 - 9
Tickets go on sale Friday, November 28 at 5:30 pm.
Audience Costume Parades – Friday and Saturday at 7:30 & 9:45
For five days only, Tampa Theatre will be hosting the only Florida multi-day run of the cult horror musical Repo! The Genetic Opera. Come in costume on Friday, December 5th and Saturday, December 6th and strut your stuff across the stage in the audience costume parades.
In the year 2056 – the not so distant future – an epidemic of organ failures devastates the planet. Out of the tragedy, a savior emerges: GeneCo, a biotech company that offers organ transplants… for a price. Those who miss their payments are scheduled for repossession and hunted by villainous Repo Men.
In a world where surgery addicts are hooked on painkilling drugs and murder is sanctioned by law, a sheltered young girl searches for the cure to her own rare disease as well as information about her family's mysterious history. After being sucked into the haunting world of GeneCo, she is unable to turn back, as all of her questions will be answered at the wildly anticipated spectacular event: The Genetic Opera.
Directed by Darren Lynn Bousman (SAW II, SAW III, SAW IV) and produced by Twisted Pictures and Lionsgate, this futuristic horror rock opera stars Paul Sorvino (GOODFELLAS), Alexa Vega (SPY KIDS), Paris Hilton (HOUSE OF WAX), Anthony Stewart Head (TV's "Buffy the Vampire Slayer"), Bill Moseley (THE DEVIL'S REJECTS), Ogre (from the band Skinny Puppy) and world-renowned opera singer Sarah Brightman (Broadway's "Phantom of the Opera"). By fusing ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW and BLADE RUNNER, this unique production will modernize the "rock opera" genre with original music and rich, dark production design.
