We all know that gas prices are skyrocketing and as a result those families with limited resources are hit the hardest. What does this mean for the hood then? How will an issue of this magnitude affect the attitudes and structure of our lower class familes and middle class neighborhoods? Even the price of bus fair has risen with the added pain of fewer stops per route. Are we witnessing a new world order in development? Is there a shift in the haves and have nots? Will any elected official have the power or resources to turn things around? Its just crazy how a simple thought about something so trivial can lead to subjects so broad. It just shows the interconnectedness of everything we know. The world is not just you, its us. Think about that. I'm off to work now. Can somebody afford to give me a ride?
