So we just got back to LA from the amazzzzzzzing east coast (hey!), where it looks and smells suggestively of Fall. Turns out that today @ 5:18 eastern, about a half hour ago, it Officially turned Autumn. Thats a lil tidbit of info, there have some:)..
Luckily, as ever, it looks like there are a few more weeks of summerish here on the west coast (um, 95 degrees today maybe? thats not even logical:) BUT, nonetheless its safe to say that the DNA Summer Tour, or 'Tourcation' as it will always lovingly be remembered, is OVER like a fat kid loves cake. Wait...what?
Anyway, we're happy to report Tourcation was unequivocally 'the jam'. We saw everything from Maine to Miami, and even hit the Caribbean in there too (not a bad decision on our part:)
We met tons of rad people and tons of really cool bands, we lost gear, bought lots more gear, broke things, fixed the van, ate Maine lobsters and Georgia peaches and our Moms food, drove the speed limit sometimes...you get the point. We took lots of pictures and videos too, so we're gonna take out the ones that will get us in trouble, and then share them with you guys!
Basically we're sayin, funny stupid tour videos are on the way!
Thanks to everybody for your support, and for buying the record we love so much, thanks to friends that put us up and showed us a great time on tour. Let's do it again sometime, yeah? Winter Wondertour '09/'10 here we come yay!
