Leanddro is a singer-guitarrist from Dominican Republic. He started his musical career at the age of 15, when with his first guitar he started composing. At the time he was majoring in music at The School of Bellas Artes, D.R. He started as a professional interpreting Merengue. It was in one of these Merengue groups, called Parada Joven, in which he gained the love of the Dominican audience. Being part of this group facilitated him tours to Panama, Puerto Rico, and the United States. Leanddro was part of Parada Joven for one and a half years, leaving the group by the end of 1999, heading to the U.S.A. to give life to his own project.
Between 2000 and 2001 he trained in acting and singing in the Raul Julia Training in New York City. In 2003 he gained an award for best Latin acoustic at The New York Musical Festival in Las Vegas, which gave him the opportunity to go to Los Angeles to present his songs and receive his award at a similar event.
In 2007 he got another award, now in Miami, in Premio Estrella on the category of Tropical Rock for his song "Hablamos". His debut album, that was recorded in Tuninf Fork Music Studio, will be release on 2008. The lyrics of his songs are a whole world of philosophy, and his style is unique, a mix of Caribbean rhythms with electric guitars called Tropical Rock Latino.
