For Your Information

I have scheduled a break down for 6pm tonight.  It appears to be right on schedule.  If all things go as expected I should be able to get up and go to work tomorrow.

It's like a Viras Scan from Norton; just schedule for a convient time and let it run its course.

If only!

I think scheduling your breakdowns is a great idea.   Just put it in Outlook and have a nifty little beeping reminder.  All should go according to plan, unless pesky little Outlook decides to have a breakdown on its own.

Am also a big fan of Norton's "Go Back" feature where you can return to a presaved place when you knew everything was alright and still have the option of recovering files you've created since then.

Thank you both for seeing the humor in this.  I am feeling a bit off right now, but unlike hamburger meat it's not a complete loss once you go off a little bit.

Great to know, but haven't made the leap to MAc yet.  It'll happen eventually though.

I was using PC trouble as a metaphore- it just seemed applicable; you know, like blenders (Nice old blog posts by the way).

All crap! It was just an excuse for not to come to rehearsal!
I miss you!

When am I going to see you? Any time before your second annual 29th Birthday?
