Changes

With eyes wide shut and mouth unable to speak,
With remembrance of words of the wise and of the meek
Shadow of pains and shade of distresses
Drowning under an immense river of loneliness,
While immersing easily into the abyss of melancholy
What a pity, such great folly.

With a stroke of misery on the canvas,
With the needle pointing downward on the compass,
Silhouette of the weak and the lonely
Living a life full of fear and poverty
And the future holds not a better tomorrow
For it will rain grief on wherever one follows.

Alas! The window of opportunity is here.
At the crack of dawn, anticipate a new journey,
A new sun, a new moon, and a brand new self;
It will be the season to clean out the old shelf.
It will be a transformation of the entire universe,
For there will not be any more pain or stress.

A brand new city, new civilization, a new frontier,
Out of nowhere there will be a new route, a new way.
Distressing won t be allowed anymore, yes indeed.
Comforting each other will be the norm, yes indeed,
While bathing continuously in the sea of bliss,
As one experiences the endless phenomenon we call: happiness.
