The Public Access Television Corporation 

Master Control/Production and Facilities Assistant

The Public Access Television Corporation (PATV), a 501(c) (3) not-for-profit organization which serves the incorporated villages of Great Neck/North Shore, ..Long Island.. is seeking a full time Master Control Operator and Production Assistant.

Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to, the following):

§         Master Control – Leightronix Nexus System

§         Maintain videotape library in all aspects, data input, organization, duplication, etc.

§         Website Content Management and updates.

§         Assist Technical Director with productions including post production.

§         Assist Technical Director with community video training workshops.

Skills:

§         Creative self-starter, self motivated and enthusiastic

§         Computer literacy in both Mac and PC (including Microsoft Word and Excel)

§         Television, video production experience

§         College degree in television/ communications/technology preferred

§         Ability to demonstrate proficiency in the Final Cut Pro Software system and Macintosh IMOVIE

Additional Requirements:

§         Must have drivers license and car. Ability to lift 40 lbs or more.

The salary is $ 30,000 per year with a benefits package after 3 months.

This is a full time position and requires a flexible schedule. Hours and days may vary.
