Hiya Follies Fans! We have to have a little talk...
I don't know what was in the air at the last Follies (April), but I hope it never returns.  Many folks were being really rude, especially at donation time.  What ya have to remember is that since we don't charge a cover at the door, we rely on donations to pay our performers- (i.e. donations=ability to keep having the show).  Of course, not everyone was being a huge, gaping a-hole...most of you were fabulous as always! And, man, oh man do we appreciate it!  We just want to do a great show in the East Bay where we all live and love.  Last show was weird and a little discouraging, so let's not have another yucky show, k??? We love Oakland and The Follies and want to continue community supported burlesque.  We put A LOT of our own time into this venture, and well, we only want to continue doing that if you all still want it.  If you're over the Follies, that's okay too, just give us a head's up.  Again, I apologize to our loyal fans who had to sit through this rant...we always appreciate you guys!!!
