Update 11.30.09: I'm really getting excited about the new album, I still have a long ways to go but it's definitely getting there. I have 10 half finished "songs" now and I'm starting to listen to it as an entire album, which is really cool, I wish I could share it, but I want to wait until it's completely finished before I put it out there. If only I could give 100% of my time to this now, but I also have to pay the bills of course. I still have no idea when I'll be done but it IS happening.

I appear to not be making the deadlines for the interview video and new music and even for the "remastering" of the old music. I AM still working on the stuff. I am currently working on new music and have a few new songs in the works. I'm in the process of learning Pro Tools (and a bit of Logic) for the music recording and Final Cut Pro (and a bit of After Effects) for the video. Needless to say, this a A LOT to learn. I am making progress and am having fun with the new music. I've come to realize I'm the type of person who loves the creation phase but isn't crazy about the perfection phase. The best part is roughing out the songs, getting the idea down, but then actually perfecting it all isn't so interesting to me, but it has to be done, I know.

I'm going to try to not make any more promises about when things will be finished because I hate to break promises. I guess all I can say is that when it's done, it's done and I will be posting it here on myspace.

The technical stuff can be a pain in the ass-hang in there. I'm still learning how to do my video camera, my digital 4 track still allows my stuff to sound 'human'. I tell everyone the same thing- When it's done, then you'll hear it.
