Not every title can be a priceless gem. Saw the Avett Brothers (
http://www.myspace.com/theavettbrothers) last night at the Avalon in Easton, and do yourself a favor, if they come anywhere within three hours of your town, go see them. I've seen them a good 7-8 times over the past year and they NEVER disappoint. One of the most energetic, fun, AND musically powerful shows I've ever seen. You might think a guitar, banjo, and upright bass can't sound like punk...but hearing (and seeing) is believing. And trust me, their studio recordings (while great in their own right) don't do the energy, tempo and VOLUME of their live show justice.
