1-16-2008
"I Believe" -- Cloning Einstein's ballad from their self-titled re-released album, just hit radio stations across the country on January 14th, and it has already become 1 Most Added Single on ACQB alongside such hitmakers as Alicia Keyes, Linkin Park, Daughtry and Matchbox Twenty. Cloning Einstein's 11 tracks draw from their love of rock, reggae, and pop, including a slow-jam, Fugees-inspired cover of U2's classic "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For."
Cloning Einstein (www.cloningeinstein.com), a Philly-based fivesome, have utilized the many opportunities provided by the internet including Myspace, iTunes, CD Baby and Rhapsody to bring their music to a new audience in 2008. Listeners and reviewers across the internet have taken notice of Cloning Einstein's debut including Evolution of Media's Erin Worm who recently wrote, "...the album by the 5 member group has a sound of sophistication that is portrayed throughout every song. Their adult pop sound can be compared to artists such as Billy Joel or Paul Carrack... This band has got a lot to look forward to and their fans should be excited that their presence is being recognized."
Founding band member and bassist Joe Dougherty is delighted by Cloning Einstein's hot start on ACQB radio. At the same time, Dougherty says, "It's a very adult oriented project, and not subject to trends." Joe is "grateful for this chance to connect with a wide new audience. It's an exciting time in the music business for independent artists like us."
