What gear do you use live and to record?
I have quite a few guitar, but my favorite is a Samick Artist Model.
This is the red one on my album cover. It is the most comfortable
instrument I’ve ever played on - and I played a lot of guitars I can
tell ya! Sometimes I’m also using my Fender Strat for cleaner or
crunch-type tones. During the recording of my album I used a Fibenare
sevenstring guitar on 3 songs: “Tight Squeeze", “Stormbeaten” and
“Golden Sun”. I use mostly Marshall amps, and sometimes my Boss GT-3
effects processor too. Of course I add some other effects (compressors,
digital delay, etc.) in the studio, but live it is only overdrive and a
bit of delay plus my good old wah.
How did you get so good?
Thanks a lot man! In my opinion, it is a combination of numerous
factors. First of all, if you want to be good on any instrument, you
have to know all the aspects and areas of the music theory. It just
won’t work without it - you might have good chops without it but after
reaching a certain level you may find yourself in a deadlock, because
the lack of theory will keep you from playing freely in a more complex
musical environment. In the second place, it is crucial to keep going
