On Friday, November 14th, LA*Jesus and Redlight Productions proudly bring you the next installment of SHOW LOVE, with live performances by Hey Champ and Codebreaker (Milwaukee, WI), and DJ sets by LA*Jesus and special guest DJ SR-71. The event takes place at Darkroom (2210 W Chicago) and begins at 9pm. Tickets are $10 - $8 advance - and can be purchased at darkroombar.com.

Hey Champ, whose sound rides a line comfortably between indie-rock and electropop, is a band quickly on the rise in Chicago. They just inked a deal with Lupe Fiasco's 1st and 15th Records; recently signed to Bandit Management, home to a diverse group of artists including Ben One, Vyle and Kevin Coval; and have produced remixes for major label artists Yeasayer and Scenario Rock. The success of their single Cold Dust Girl (and subsequent video with it's slick setting and clever production) helped land them opening gigs for Midnight Juggernauts and The Prairie Cartel, and has solidified them as one of Chicago's premiere electro-rock acts.

Hailing from Milwaukee, Codebreaker brings their tight dancefloor songcraft to Chicago for the next SHOW LOVE. Touring in support of their single Fire featuring Kathy Diamond on vocals (backed with the addictive R.I.M.L.), their live show promises to be deliver the goods. They've got an impressive show history to back them up: opening slots for Hot Chip, Datarock, Chromeo, Yelle, Har Mar Superstar, VHS Or Beta and many other notable touring acts. Dusty Groove America recently described their sound as 'ultra catchy early 80s post disco groove -- [with] enough modern touch to really give it a timeless feel.'

DJ sets will be provided throughout the evening by LA*Jesus and special guest DJ SR-71, who just had the privilege of opening for Hot Chip's DJ set at Smart Bar, and of hosting italo-disco legend Alexander Robotnick at Sonotheque.
