We were happy to have Chicago's Poet Laureate Thax Douglas introduce us at our last show with the following poem...
ARWIN
the baroque
ballroom crumpled
up to the size
of bacteria where
the waltzing
viruses, oblivious to
the bloodstream
that surrounds them,
agree to churn
up a religion with 3/4 time
regularity-exhausted
they need
converts to their
new religion
to act as nurses.
