Emil Klotzsch is quite a name in the netlabel world, he had widely noticed releases on fine labels like One & Autoplate - solo and together with Raimund Sudermann in a broad range of styles. This time he teamed up with bassetthornist Ruediger Krey for a very special approach.

“Through All These Years Of Trying To Belong” was captured to battery-driven HD recorders deep in the woods of the german Eifel region. Emil sent prerecorded subtle piano miniatures to Ruediger..s headphones while he improvised to this incorporating the sounds of the forest. Klotzsch enhanced the recordings by mysterious synth textures and reworked the piano and field recording stems. The outcome is stunning: Chambermusic, Jazz, Avant-Garde Pop. The final track features the magic Werner Kitzmüller from Vienna with a haunting vocal performance.

For perfect listening pleasure, we offer an additional FLAC download and a sublime 5.1 surround mix on DVD at our shop. ...enjoy!
