I have been rather mundane lately, much like the weather at the moment I suppose. It's wet, cold and infectiously tiring. Anyway, I havent done much that needed blogging, hence the long silence.
On the other hand, I've been reading the many blogs of others and everyone talks about the oil price, the price hike and the economy in general. From asia to europe, we are all affected. The irony is, not that the world suddenly experiencing shortage of oil reserve, far from that actually but this is all about speculation. The Middle East countries are counting billions each day out of our misery?? How crude! I was emailed a photo of diamond studded Mercedes that was custom made for a Syeikh from Dubai and my stomach churned with abhorance and disgust. There you go guys, the answer to all your trepidations and anger as to why oil price hasnt come down, yet.
On a positive note, I did a fair amount of gardening this weekend. I bought trallies, hanging basket and pots in which I planted gloriously gorgeous summer plants. They come in various colors, red, purple, burgundy, so rich of life and so soothing. At least, when I look out into the courtyard, Im reminded of summer and the reminiscence of great colorful places, the likes of Vienna and the Meds! hahahahaha... how cheesy
And to one of my favorite past times, SHOPPING. The summer sale is everywhere now. Oh boy, dont I love walking around the high streets and look for bargains but this year, I havent really had the time to do that. Anyway, i set my mind on an apple book PRO and a LV wallet and perhaps, if I have enough funds, I'll get an LV shoulder bag hahahahaha. This isnt about pompousness or showing off but pure self indulgence for the things I so love. After all, I work damn hard and from time to time, Im allowed to treat myself to nice, beautiful things. I bought a set of necklace and bracelet the other day. That's all im gonna say hehehehehe (P/S: Filip was asking me what am I gonna do with my other bagS hhahahaha) Im a collector, remember hun?
I shall sign off with a very very good news to the household that Filip has been promoted to a managerial position in Citroen. He wil start his new job in October when we come back from our holiday in Italy. Im proud of my husband hehehehehe...
