On the malaysian front, tomorrow my country will celebrate it's Indepence Day. One thing for sure, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has won and will bring some much needed change to the country both politically and socially. UMNO has ruled the country for the last 50 years with tight, total, almost ruthless way by invoking fears amongst the muslims and the indigenous people that they will lose their so called 'rights' if they ever chose the opposition. Total bullshit of course but hey, what do our grandfathers and fore grandfathers knew??!!! With today's state of the art communications system, internet and etc, the younger generations have free access to the internet and people can share their views and develop free speech cultures. Even that has been abused by the current government!!! How sad but Im sure, things will slowly change for the better. So many great minds have emigrated elsewhere just because the country is becoming so extreme and politically INCORRECT. My wish, I hope malaysians, doesnt matter if they are borne indegenous or not, have the same rights and are free to be who they are and practise their beliefs freely.
