This time of the year, the leaves turn to golden, yellowish color or marron and they start to wittle and easily blown away by a slight gust of wind. It's also the time of the year when I feel most at ease and calm and peaceful. Walking in the park rejuvenates me, seeing the carpet of dried leaves on the earth floor invokes such a deep longing feeling that Im alive and that Im so lucky to be where I am today. Basil as usual loves to run amok, snorting and digging in every little corners where he can get his big fat paws into! Playing mum to him makes my otherwise mundane life very interesting and worth living for hehehe.. talking of a love for an animal

I started my french class, yet again this school year. I did it once for 3 months years ago but had to stop because I was too busy juggling my master class and work. So, I made a promise to myself that Im gonna follow this course right to the end. I should give myself credits tho for completing my dutch course  So, little matty will have to wake up early on saturdays and drive thru the winter chill to get to class... hehehe. Guys, that's the kind of sacrifice one has to make to live in a foreign country!!!! One of the many sacrifices, I have to admit hehehe

Oh, this is sooooooooooooooooo fucking bloody interesting bits of news Im gonna share. My friend Davidson Toda who lives and works in Borneo is finally getting married. He was at my wedding last year so, Im not gonna miss his next year hehehe. I wonder how will David adjust to life being away from his parents, he's such a mummy's boy! I told him that getting marriage is like so easy, any 2 persons can do it but to maintain it needs a lot of work, commitment and the biggest sacrifice of all is selflessness!!! This time, it isnt just about ME and ME and ME alone, we have to consider the other party as well. That's how marriage works really. As we all know, nothing is perfect and finding that perfect someone will take you this life time and perhaps the next few!!! So dont look for such a person that ticks all the boxes but find the one that is receptive and acceptive to your values and beliefs. The rest will just follow.

So, yet again it's Sunday. It's cloudy, chilly and crisp out there. We just had a hefty brunch. Filip's famous omelette paysanne ( literally means omelette with vegs, sausages and potato). We are heading to granny's this afternoon for a visit and if we have time, we'll visit his mum too. Im thinking about the tonnes of laundry that needs to be ironed hehehehe... how I wish I had a robot to do all that for me *sigh*

Okidoki folks, till the next posting, keep urself warm and tight.

Loves, Matty and Co.
