Me and Richy had a brilliant time up in the North of this lovely little country of ours. First of all we drove up to the Newcastle area to visit some boffin friends of ours, who are currently working on a secret project that will revolutionise they way we think about london buses. Can't say any more, they would kill me. The next day, we drove through the glorious Northumbria landscape to the fair city of Glasgow were we met friends, got drunk, played a gig, not neccessarily in that order. The we went to Edinburgh the next day to visit the Castle and try in vain to find a Wetherspoons for a cheap dinner. We also played an early gig supporting the marvellous MISS BLACK AMERICA. Dundee was the next port of call, although, I'm not sure if Dundee had a port. Those of you that want to be sure can google it. Dundee gig was quite poorly attended as the venue had changed and a lot of folk turned up at the venue that we weren't playing at. However the 30 or so people that we did play too more than made up for the lack of numbers with their incredible human pyramid making. We stayed the night with our great friends Michele, Lewis and their 2 kids Lachlan and Caitlin. Then it was back to Glasgow for a quick rehearsal and a special gig. We played as iBrut, a loving tribute to our fave band Art Brut. Yer Maw, were also there and played the gig as Yer Maw The Unstoppable Sex Machine Will Eat Itself. they were great. The final gig of the iDou Nano Tour was in Barrow In Furness, once again in the company of Yer Maw and also some other great bands. It was a great gig. we were looked after really well and stayed with our mates Neil and Laura, who are great. Yes, that was a great tour. Now I am gonna lay down for a week les xx
