'Next up was (LORDAERON), A 5 piece “blackened death/grind” band from
Derby, who incidentally share their guitarist with Gutworm. Easily the
heaviest band of the night, they gave no quarter as they bludgeoned
their way through their set while their frontman stalked the stage
grunting and growling like a man possessed. Mosh pits appeared
sporadically throughout their set, but they tended to be short lived as
the participants quickly regressed into rabid headbanging....evening of
some of the best unsigned bands I’ve seen in a very long time...For me,
Lordaeron were my fave of the evening mainly because of their bleak,
hard as fuck grind, but all the bands were awesome and well worth
checking out live.'
