Wow! Kanye's an asshole!: I can't believe he actually went up on stage, took Taylors mic, and ruined her moment to say Beyonce had the best female video. He was probably right but I still think it was very disrespectful of him. Not only did he disrespect Taylor, but the rest of the nominees as well. I was shocked when they mentioned Taylors name as a winner because I thought it was between Beyonce and Lady Gaga. In my opinion, Lady Gagas "Poker Face" video was the best. It was fashionable, it had choreography and its props fit with the song. Unlike Beyonces, hers just had dancing and more dancing. If anything, she should've won best dance in a video. I honestly didn't think Taylor would take it. The Michael Jackson tribute: Madonnas speech touched me, but not deep enough to make me shed atleast one tear. Although I do think she was the right person to open with a speech. The whole dancing act was okay. I felt like it should have been longer and bigger. Michael deserved something as big as a king. Performances: Lady Gagas performace was so awesome! I didn't expect the blood-all-over-her part. It was something unexpected but kinda expected coming from Gaga. Does that make any sense? Haha Pinks performance rocked! I love that song and I also love the fact that not only she sings; she performs. I love pink. Shes a true artist. Beyonce was okay. I was expecting more from her. I feel like I was at the rising action as she was performing. and never got to the climax part. I guess because I feel she topped the performances when she performed "Ring the Alarm" a couple of years ago. Now that was an awesome act. Best New Artist award: Lady Gaga! Woo hoo! I'm so glad she won. She really deserves it. Shes a true performer. I love her and I cant' get enough of her. In fact, I have even changed my name to "Jona Gaga" haha-ha Overall I think this years awards were okay If it weren't for Kanyes asshole-ness, we wouldn't be talking about it right? Haha I think it needed more performances. By the way, I didn't vote for the nominees this year because I don't have internet connection at home and my iphone does not run flashplayer. Although I did vote for best new artist.
