Indie rock grandfathers Dinosaur Jr have just announced their Australian tour in March 2006, bringing all original members with them.
Dinosaur Jr's career was put on hold when J Mascis went solo, but the band reformed earlier this year and has toured around Europe and America to rave reviews.
This is the first time the band have toured Australia in almost a decade, although Mascis has toured here several times as a solo artist.
Dates for Jr's tour are:
Sunday 5 March - Club Capitol, Perth
Tuesday 7 March - Hotel Great Northern, Byron Bay
Wednesday 8 March - The Tivoli, Brisbane
Thursday 9 March - Annandale Hotel, Sydney
Friday 10 March - Metro Theatre, Sydney
Saturday 11 March & Sunday 12 March - The Corner Hotel, Melbourne
