In December, I went to NY for the results of the Armani Exchange modeling contest. What an exciting time - a whirlwind experience that I won't soon forget! I made instant friends with the fun, crazy AX staff and the sexy finalists, Michael and Daniel. GQ hosted a beautiful, intimate dinner to announce the winners. All of your online votes pushed me to the top, and I was shocked beyond words. No literally, my thank you speech was incoherent.

So, now that I'm lucid, thank you!

In January, I returned to NY for an interview and photoshoot. I modeled the entire AX underwear line, including the new Pima cotton series. Very soft and comfy! Big thanks to Troy, Ali, Denise, and Patrick at AX for making it happen! Keep an eye out for the upcoming ad campaigns...

And thank you for your thoughts and prayers for Reichen's Aunt Pat.

Before NY, we traveled to Ohio for Pat's beautiful memorial. What an AMAZING woman! I never got a chance to meet her, but I definitely got to know her spirit through her family's adoring stories and memories. And what a great family!

A deep soul, she was a PhD scientist at the NIH; I got a chance to talk with her lab assistant, who said that Pat was the sweetest woman she had ever met. Funny, beautiful, intelligent, soulful. Her short life reminds us how fragile and beautiful life is.

Some small pieces of wisdom: Be present in the moment, love others and yourself, forgive all those who hurt you, take lots of pictures, laugh hard, always give your best, and use your abilities and talents to improve our world and glorify that universal life source that connects us all.
