On the 1st of April I will be in a gallery show at Somedays alongside artists Ashley Scott and Lena Obergfell. The title is Everyday@Somedays and explores the extraordinary in the ordinary. This will be the first gallery show I have had since the early 90's.
I am madly cutting matte board and framing pictures.
It is a nice intersection between my research based performance practice and 2-D work.
The first series of photos will be a selection from a photo/text series which came from a task I set myself in 2007.
Titled '30 Whispers' the project can be viewed at stationsinbetween

It looks at random collisions, unknown outcomes and sewing seeds.
The second series will be a selection from an ongoing portrait series. 'Swivel' captures friends and associates in a casual atmosphere. These close up portraits focus on the eyes. They
explore capturing the act of looking, especially in a social setting. Our eyes constantly survey our heads turn and our eyes lock.
