Some of you may remember Fred asking for signatures so he could run for mayor of Corpus Christi.  He needed only 74 signatures to be on the ballot.  So, he got almost 90 signatures because you could tell a couple of the signatures were just fucktards.  I mean, really, if someone asks you to sign something you do not want to sign, just say no thanks.  So, Fred turned in his application for mayor with all of his signatures.  It then happened that the city secretary found there were about 20, yes TWENTY, unregistered voters or people who should not have signed it.  This was on a Friday.  The deadline for the application was the next Monday at 5 p.m.  Fred would have to go back out and get, in one weekend, the same amount of signatures he had gotten in weeks before and hope the signatures were good.  They told him none of the previous signatures would work.  OR, he could have given them $100 like the other mayoral canidates did.  However, Fred didn't want to buy his way onto the ballot.  Thank you to everyone who signed the petition and gave him your support.  He now knows what he needs to do differently next time.
