As some of you may have heard, we have officially decided to stop making music together as The Hourly Radio.  We can't express how much the experience has meant to us or how difficult the decision  has been to move on, but we want to thank all of you for supporting the band and the music.  We're going to take some time to compile our favorite pictures and memories to post here and on our website and hope to make our entire catalogue available for free download soon.  If you have any images or stories you'd like to share, please post them.  You never know, they might make it into The Hourly Radio coffee table book.

As a parting gift, we have one last song to offer up.  Sons and Daughters is the last song we recorded together and is included in a multimedia release entitled Two Blue Wolves.  The song is our contribution to the soundtrack and features members of Stellastarr*, Elefant and a bunch of other great artists. For more info on this project:  sparrowhall.com

We'll also be sure to post any news on future projects featuring members of The Hourly Radio.

Thats all for now.  Thanks again and leave us your comments!

Ryan, Adam, Tim and Aaron.

It's going to take me a few good days to absorb all this at once, truly.

I was lucky enough to see you guys 3 times; twice as the opening band for IAMX and once travelled over to Dallas just to see your awesome selves - which ended up being your 2nd to last show ;(

Will continue to listen to my copy of 'History Will Never Hold Me' for years. If you guys could just do one last show... a final farewell... ahhh, that would be beyond amazing. The 6 hour drive to Dallas would be well worth it.

Thanks for the great music and good times! I will never forget you guys...

All the best,
H

Guys, I am sooo gutted to here that you have decided to move on.
I only got to see you play once, in London with the Shiny's, but as soon as you started playing, my mate and I knew we loved your music.
We bought your CD as soon as you came off stage and had a quick chat with a jetlagged Aaron! The gig was amazing and the album was even better.
Suffice to say you were great together and I hope whatever you go on to do, it is successful.
Love and Hugs
Your biggest fan in the UK

I'm really sorry Dallas pretty much hung you out to dry. Without nurture, the music dies around here and the city will be worse off for it: a cacophony of glass and steel and hummers without a soul. Still, I got to see you at the Double Wide not to long ago, in the middle spot, and you just completely upstaged whatever band came after you. Well done. Don't stop making music.

Really I'm very sad by this news, indeed I think the number one fan of The Hourly Radio at least I think that simply are my favorites above all other Arctic Monkeys, The Killers, stellastarr* siemplemente by making better music, and you put the whole heart to his songs.
And just tell them to leave so happy and excited that he had commissioned his album "History will never hold me" really would have liked the EP "Deaf Ears and Crime Does Pay" but we can not achieve anything in ..Mèxico xD ... I can not believe it, and also was already thinking about buying my blouse monitors remix of the =P I'm very very sad, you are owners of my favorite song "Crime does pay" ahhh and I wanted to bring hehe ahhh as band favorite because I want the much! and the small Ryan (like I tell you) because thank you very much for answering the messages of this anger ... Ahh! No! not be! if they knew that their music is so good foul! make me so happy! Noo! ahh really hurts! Thanks to you know a lot of bands! Like that does not exceed, but gave me good sound indie xD and also thanks to others who know you like I do not like anything at first but I just grab a taste for being friends, stellastarr* almost earn the title " my favorite band "but you can leave us so nothing else, so what remains.
Now for leave to mourn a while to control where my stories, photos, and tears of remembrance?

I hope an answer...Ryan very nice, very often respond me, I hope dont forget of my

and... cool photo =(

I really have hope in you guys, Im sure, your music is amazing! Im wait for you...

see ya!

I had the pleasure of watching you play when I was on tour with Shiny Toy Guns in the UK, and I fell in love immediately. I'm sad to hear this news, you guys have a really unique and beautiful sound. I had one of your pins from that show on my camera bag forever, and now I'm really sad that it went missing, as it's a collector's edition now, it seems. I don't say this very often, but I really do admire your music very much. SO many elements come together SO well, and I'm sad to hear that it won't be evolving and continuing in the future. Thanks for making what you have, you've provided a piece of my life-soundtrack and I wish you all the best of luck. Really.

I first heard The Hourly Radio sitting in my cell and staring at the walls, blankly listening to The Adventure Club with Josh. Their sound was completely unique and ever since, I've supported and promoted. He Said, She Said was a window for me to really get out there and explore the Dallas local scene. I am truely disappointed that they will no longer be together, but I look forward to new beginnings. Best of luck to them and their future endevors. .. ..~Sean.

i first heard you guys when i worked at this awesome "factory" thing. It was a buncha girls making practice pads and mutes for vic firth, pearl, all that. Our boss had this amazingly intense music collection, and one day I was screwing on the plate for a snare pad and heard "deaf ears" on his mix. I ran upstairs to his office, asked who it was, and made him play the entire album. Every now and then I just feel this random compulsion to hear you, and today was the first time since i lost my cds! So I got sad, came on the page for the first time in forever, and needless to say I saw this............I'll miss you but I wish you all the best of luck in anything and everything you do!........[ex][oh]....Kelley-Rose
