Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung of Vietnam devalued his country's currency, the Dong, by almost 2% last week. What does that mean for you and me? Well, now you can get 16,461 Dong per dollar, up from a mere 16,139 Dong. No matter how you look at it, that's a lot of Dong. Thank you, Mr. Dung. We mention this only because a Sirs ambassador is scheduled to visit Vietnam early next year, and if there's one thing Sirs can stand squarely behind, it's more Dong.
