My heart is clenched like a fist and my mind is racing with worry as I watch the inevitable collapse of our way of life unfold before my eyes like some grotesque dream. I see history manifesting itself in every waking moment, creating a picture that future generations will be thankful they never experienced, but with which I and my countrymen are all too familiar.
I have lived to see the rise of fascism in a free and open society like some strangling network of sinister vines choking our courage to stand up and defend liberty at any cost; confounding our citizenry with contrived information and persecuting our patriots when they dare resist the madness.
I have listened to men and women who believe they follow the teachings of Jesus condone with thunderous applause the invasion of sovereign nations for the profit of businessmen, as their sons and daughters were fed into a great machine of death and encouraged to kill indiscriminately and mercilessly. I have listened to them argue fervently about the righteousness and benefits of torture of their fellow man, and in the same breath preach about love, forgiveness, and God’s mercy on the faithful.
I have lived to see the dreams and principles of my forefathers crippled and torn asunder by the hands of madmen and arrogant children in great seats of power. I have seen great injustice take place and witnessed in abject shock as good men did nothing to prevent it or prevail against it. I have seen a terrifying assault in the war on truth, in which facts do not exist, and in which public opinion is swayed like the tops of trees, by the strongest wind. I have seen the systematic and deliberate degradation of the dignity of my countrymen to the point of desperate violence and despair.
I have seen leaders posing as saviors use fear and deceit to manipulate and confuse the countless masses so that they might support an elite conquest for global domination, for which the trembling proletariat will be rewarded with slavery and mindless entertainment. I have lived to see free men and women volunteer to fight and die for what they believe are righteous and holy causes of liberty, but which in truth are part of an imperialist crusade to dominate and control the fate of all.
But we will not go quietly into the silence of history, nor will we rage with reckless abandon. Every man, every woman, every young person with a mind to think and a heart to follow must account for their place in this world and their purpose in this struggle. Make no mistake my countrymen, we are on the precipice of another war for independence in our lifetime. This is no dream or imaginative ruse. The stakes are no less than our autonomy. A global network of the most powerful and influential demagogues the world has ever seen now threatens those freedoms we were born into and have taken for granted all our lives. Service to self will ultimately lead to the ruin of all. It is the duty of every person to stand in solidarity with their brothers and sisters in defiance of tyranny and for the defense of freedom. If you choose to do nothing, you may awaken amazed when the global military state has sprung up all around you as you slept. There is still time, so learn all that you can. And prepare.
