Part One: Member changes

Okay, so, as it is known, Trent was out as the drummer, and is now just the recording guy.  We got another guy named Bobby, but he was too young and would hold us back; plus, he was too interested in being in the band for a career instead of just for the music and fun.  Sure, money's a factor, but only to make it to where we aren't losing money by spending time on the band, and screwing over our lives.

However, a twist we weren't expecting was cutting Jennifer.  She's in college and absolutely has no time for it, and she'll still be in it next year, and we can't continue to be being held back.  However, she'll be doing our music videos now.

Aaron found a new drummer for us, though, known as "Saint RunsWithStrippers," which has an interesting story behind it.  He found a new guitarist for us, who shall hence-forth be known as "dude" until I learn his name.

Part 2: What the hell is "Shadow Punk" anyway?

Shadow Punk is, in essence, just complex Punk.  Punk is a rebellion against the system, and, as an unspoken rule, a way of treating eachother with decency.  However, Punk is also about simplicity.  Punk is about keeping as much rules and systems, and power, out of everything as possible, and just treating eachother decently due to the simple fact that we just should.  Punks sometimes treat normal people in an aggressive manner due to the fact that they are nothing more than a part of the system, society, and all its injustices, and its unescapeable control over people.  Shadow Punk is just a complex variation on this idea.

Shadow Punks don't have a problem with a system and laws in place.  It makes it easier to keep people from hurting eachother and treating eachother like shit.  However, Shadow Punks want the people to control the system instead of the other way around.  However, knowing that will probably never happen, Shadow Punks spend their time mostly pointing out how fucked up we are without noticing it.  Shadow Punks examine society and humanity, and show all it's flaws.  They show the Shadow of humanity.

Shadow Punks represent this in both the music and their appearance.  They bring out the bass and give it a hollow sound, brining out the background of the music, its shadow.  Shadow Punks also take the normal Punk uniform, er, fashion, and make it predominantly black and grayscale.

The Shadow Punk philosophy, unlike Punk's destruction of the system (because the question then becomes, "now what?"), is about fixing the system and controling it.  If anything, Shadow Punk is "Punk part 2" because Punk wants to destroy the system, and Shadow Punk wants to put one in place that will not control the people (because history has said, time and time again, that a government will always be established from anarchy without fail, unless we all kill eachother first).
