STAND BY YOUR SCENE is a concept started by Nic White and Justin Machelski late in 2007, inspired by the comradery in the Metal scene, which was, and still is, lacking in the underground hiphop scene. 

 If u take a moment to browse MYSPACE for underground Hip-Hop in the MI area, you will see TONS of artists and fans with "STAND BY YOUR SCENE" or SBYS in there name and on there page---  

 it is about being yourself, staying true, and supporting your local musicians!
