She looked at the front door and it seemed to get smaller each time she took a step toward it. Her heart was racing fast and every breath almost overlapped the other. She knew he was behind shadowing every step of the way but she couldn't see him only feel his presence. She opened the door and jumped the steps and tried to run faster but it felt as if a strong force was keeping her arms and legs from moving any but in slow motion. She ran toward the car next door and jumped on it's rooftop to get to the top of the house. First, her arms reached out to the edge and her strength sped down her body muscles with a chain reaction effect as she lifted her body weight up, suddenly, a firm grip got a hold of her ankle, pulled her down and ..................it was over.
