Hello New Music Lovers!

With the second edition of TignesFest over we are sad to leave the mountains, but have been inspired by all the amazing artists who performed and can’t wait to start work on next year’s event.

CELEBRATIONS were had...oh yes...We partied hard, and we pisted harder...well some of us did. OK, one of us did. I was first up every day and on that motherf*cker. Loved it.
COLLABORATION Swere plotted (expect Losers and Frankmusik to do a remix swap at the very least)
REVELATIONS like Black Peter and Ou Est Le Swimming Pool, who will be gracing the airwaves very soon. And Ryan Lauder, who will be gracing my iPod im sure.
CONGRATULATIONS to all the team, all the artists, for another awesome and unique meet-and-greet boutique festival at the top of Europe.

Taking place from 16th – 19th April in one of the top rated (and highest!) ski resorts in the world – Tignes, TignesFest featured a unique blend of up and coming DJ’s and bands from Europe and was a melting pot for the artists of the future.

Nominated for the Yourope Best European Festival Award at the UK Festival Awards 2008, and billed as the ‘cool little boutique festival’ by the Sunday Times Style Magazine, TignesFest is a dynamic alpine music event that is a platform for upcoming artists to showcase their music and hang out, have fun and forge friendships with other artists and media.

Look out for future success stories and collaborations from the likes of; The Losers and FrankMusic,  2 Bit Thugs and Ou Est le Swimming Pool, Leslie Davis and Ryan Lauder, Eddy TM and Midi Midis, ..and on the airways new acts as spotted by Kissy Sell Out and Eddy Temple Morris.

"TignesFest rocks becuz it helps promote brand spankin new bands that are about to explode like a stick of dynamite...Thanks to Tignesfest there's been some talk of collaborations between Black Peter Group and 2 Bit Thugs, The Loosers & Frank Musik in 2009. So keep a look out for that.  Also expect to see BPG back in the UK for the 2009 Secret Garden Partyl!" Says Gio from Black Peter Group
