ONE.. This Wednesday the 16th, Blue Meridian singer, Donovan Lyman will be joined by special guests Amanda Martindale and Jason Arimoto at Acoustic Cordiale (Cafe' Cordiale) in Sherman Oaks. Acts to follow will be the Americana, Country stylings of both Lisa O'Kane & Brokedown Cadillac (formerly The Rails featuring Randy Dunham). Admission and parking are FREE. The show is all ages. The setlist promises some fantastic musical surprises including a couple never-played-before cover tunes. It's suggested that you call 818 789 1985 to reserve a table for dinner. TWO.. Friday the 18th at 2pm, Chadwick, George, Scott & Donovan, the full Blue Meridian are slated to perform TWO 45 minute sets of originals on an outdoor stage at Six Flags Magic Mountain 26101 Magic Mountain Parkway Valencia, California 91355. Regular park admission is $65 for adults. Pretty sure they're offering 50% admission to people bringing Coca Cola bottle labels. The first person who makes a reservation to the Acoustic Cordiale performance on the 16th and dines with a party of 8 or more, will be given 2 FREE admissions to Six Flags, good for the day of our performance only. THREE... In early August, Donovan returns to Orlando to team up with Manny, Dean & Kevin for a big performance at the Back Booth (37 W Pine St, Downtown). Also on the bill is another Old School Orlando fave, Mighty Joe Plum. Ashley Arrison from L.A. and Joey DeGraw (Gavin's rock n' roll brother) from NYC. We suggest you do not miss this one! Other events include an early Acoustic performance at Central Stations Rock Bar on the 17th, A live interview and performance on Real Radio on the 10th and another visit to Q's House 'net radio on the 4th. FOUR... A Northeast tour that would take us through Philadelphia, Baltimore, New York City and several other cities is in the works for the first week of Sept. We hope we can make it happen with what little time we have left. More info on that will be sent to you as soon as it rolls in, but for now.. we'd LOVE to hear back from you if you're in the Northeast, what town you're in and if we can expect to see you!
