Who doesn't love tofu? You can eat it so many different ways—baked, stir fried, grilled, broiled, steamed, sautèed, or deep fried (my fave). You can even use tofu to make a vegan cheesecake! Plus, tofu's low in calories, high in protein, and contains no cholesterol. Want to know the best part about tofu though? No animals have to suffer to make it! If you didn't already know, tofu's made from soy beans.

To show how much we heart tofu, everyone in the office is sporting our new 'Tofu Never Screams' t-shirts.

The shirt's so popular that even our favorite four-legged pal, Zoe wanted one of her own!

I know you want one too ... and you're in luck! This week, you can enter to win the 'Tofu Never Screams' t-shirt of your choice.

For your chance to win, just comment below with your favorite tofu dish. Entries must be received by November 13. The three people with the most delicious sounding dishes will be chosen as our winners and notified on November 16. Each winner will win their choice of our 'Tofu Never Screams' t-shirts.

Just so you know ... by commenting here, you're acknowledging that you've read and agreed to our privacy policy.

Also by commenting, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions.

GOOD LUCK!

My favorite thing with tofu is Japanese stir fry. :D
You make it with steamed vegetables (carrots, cabbage, onions, and anything you like), rice noodles, black bean sauce, pineapple, & tofu.
You fry it all up and it's yummmmy. [x
I made it for my church's International Dinner & it was a huge hit, even the mayor, state senator, and councilman enjoyed it. xDDD

My favorite is this dish called the Bangkok Garden. It's fried tofu covered in this sweet peanut sauce. it's served with steamed broccoli, corn, carrots and brown rice. The sauce is soooo good.  I cannot describe how amazing it is. I ate it at this place in Boston called Penang. They gave me a huge plate of broccoli placed in a circle and the tofu covered in peanut sauce in the middle. The tofu was sweet, hot and soft in my mouth. It is the best meal I've ever had.

I LOVE homemade Miso Soup w/ Tofu.
I just put in random ingredients like Shitake Mushrooms, Cabbage, Scallions, Ginger, Garlic, Dried Kelp, Bok Choy, and finally Tofu!

It is the best.  All the ingredients even each other out and it tastes better than those pre-made Miso Soups, also contains more veggies so it's healthier.  And the best thing is all the ingrediants are optional, you can put whatever veggies you want into it.

Hey Nicole.

My favorite tofu recipe is this:

I buy the tofu from Trader Joes, they have a ton of marinated tofu to choose from. I get the teriyaki kind.

Then I cook some rice and some broccolli. I also warm the tofu in a pan.

Then I stir everything in the rice with some extra teriyaki sauce.

It's amazing!

I love to make spicy asian dishes. My absolute favorite dish of all time is Tofu Panang. It's Thai and I make it hotter than most guys I know can handle. Curry and Coconut Milk sauce over extra firm tofu cubes and lots of yummy veggies like snap peas and carrot slices. Even my stubbornly carnivorous friends skip the beef when I make my panang (that or my vegan banana brownies- YUM!!!).

Zoe is adorable :)

This is a tough question, but I think my favourite tofu dish would be.. đậu hũ đường! It's a Vietnamese desesrt. It literally translates to sugar tofu. Really, it's soft tofu in ginger syrup. It may sound gross, but it tastes real yummy, and I've loved it since childhood.

Oh, goodness. Coming from a Korean family, tofu is a staple food in our house and our fridge. We have different kinds of tofu too, but my favorite is the soft kind that is almost jelly-like. The brand I like sells it in weird tube-like packages and you have to be very careful getting the tofu out so that you don't break it. You can eat this tofu plain by just sticking it in a pot of boiling water and eating it with maybe some long strips of kimchi or with a sauce made of soy sauce, sesame oil, chopped green onion, and korean chili pepper. Mmm.
Or you can use it to make the yummier alternative, kimchi soon tofu jigae! The recipe calls for tons of soft tofu, vegetable broth (or anchovies and dried kelp if you want to make your own broth), kimchi, minced garlic, green onion, cabbage, carrot, onion, red/green pepper, mushroom, zucchini, sesame oil, hot pepper powder, and hot pepper paste. Along with any other veggies you might want to toss into the pot.

Myt favorite tofu "dish" is Tofu Tomato Relish. I love it because it works as a topping for nearly everything. I can put it on top of my pizza, on my salads, on my veggie burgers...on anything! Therefore with this recepie I get the best of all worlds with my meals because they can all have that great tofu taste. Plus I love tomotos, and the extra ingredients such as black pepper, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar give it that extra kick.

Tofu Bento Suprise :3 my own recepie! All you need is peanut butter, shreaded carrots, bread, cute cookie cutters, sticky rice, delicious tofu, soy sauce, sesame seeds, seaweed, various veggies, a frying pan, and a bento box!  First, make a peanut butter-carrot sandwich and cut it into adorable shapes using the cookie cutters. Then place them how you wish in the bento box. Next, oil a small frying pan with all natural vegie oil and place the delicious tofu in the center at a medium heat. When the tofu begins to turn brown, add a small amount of soy sause till the tofu is Completley cooked abd covered in tasty soy sauce. Cook sticky rice and add it to the bento box, or make onigiri and cover the mushie riceballs in sesame seeds and/or seaweed strips, then place them in the bento box. Place the tofu to fit in the bento and add a pinch of sesame seeds on top. Decorate with cherry tomato or other veggie of your choice and a tofu octopus hotdog (cut 4 cuts halfway through half of a tofu hotdog and place in the microwave on high for 10-20 seconds) and make it look super cute :D Lastly, pack up your bento box and go out! Wether it's school, work, or out on a picnic with some friends (or someone special!) your tofu bento box will turn heads, and taste buds, every time you eat it. :p

Just note that it's 10 X sweeter than regular cheesecake.

My fave dish to make is Triple Threat Chocolate 'Cheese'Cake. It is amazing!
It's from the book My Sweet Vegan. It's three layers of chocolate of varying intensity. I made it for one of my classes, and it totally changed their perspective on vegan food. (For the better!!!) Everyone was so amazed that it was vegan and couldn't get enough of it. It's rich, chocolaty, vegan goodness; what more could you ask for?

Combine Vinegar, Oil, Sugar, Garlic, Oregano And Salt. Then Mix Well.
Place Tofu And Vegetables In A Shallow Baking Pan, Leave Space Between The Pieces For Even Roasting. Brush With Vinegar Mixture. Let Stand 30 Minutes, Brush Again Then Let Stand For 30 Minutes Longer.

My favorite tofu dish ever is tofu fish-sticks from the Vegan Lunchbox book. They're really delicious because you season the it with seaweed, paprika and add coarsly ground almonds to the coating so it's all crunchy on the outside while being chewy on the inside. It's worth the price of the whole book to get this recipe.
