After selling more than two and half million tickets for their forthcoming tour U2 have announced a string of further US dates. The dates which have been announced are :
Chicago, IL Soldier Field (September 12, 13)
Toronto, ON Rogers Centre (16. 17)
Foxboro, MA Gillette Stadium (20, 21)
East Rutherford, NY Giants Stadium (24, 25)
Washington, DC FedEx Field (29)
Charlottesville, VA Scott Stadium (October 1)
Raleigh, NC Carter Finlay Stadium (3)
Atlanta, GA Georgia Dome (6)
Tampa, FL Raymond James Stadium (9)
Dallas, TX New Cowboys Stadium (12)
Houston, TX Reliant Stadium (14)
Norman, Oklahoma Oklahoma Memorial Stadium (18)
Phoenix, AZ University of Phoenix Stadium (20)
Las Vegas, NV Sam Boyd Stadium (23)
Pasadena, CA Rose Bowl (25)
Vancouver, BC BC Place Stadium (28)
 
The band’s UK dates begin Aug 14 at Wembley Stadium.

I cannot wait to see U2 again. I saw them last in Philadelphia in October of 2005. I turned 30 on May 29 of that year and lost my father to cancer 5 days later. I cannot explain how emotionally charged that concert was for me, especially going by myself. I was somewhat of a recluse, living at home, not having a view of what was to come. U2 has always been an inspiration for me, I draw and write to their music. I just want to be able to see them now in a happier circumstance and under the light of a new and better way of life.

kathy, your post moved me.Im sorry for your loss.U2 is so much more then a band,or as Bono lovingly pens them,"a little quartet from Ireland".That little quartet has played a huge role in my life.and many others' lives, such as yours.we are very lucky to be seeing them again.I love them so much.I hope..no I KNOW your next time with them will be the best.enjoy it and blesses to you.....vikki..
