i just gotta say . . . . .

relative to our number of friends and page views, i can't help but notice that this blog gets a fuckload of hits. and i've only posted 6 blogs in 2+ years (ok, techincally, this is the 7th, but who's counting?), so i admit to being a little intrigued. please say hi, whomever you are, and/or drop a friend request! the whole point of our aural weirdnesses -  and this very website - are to make connections in ways that are otherwise not possible, and this is strongly encouraged in whatever fashion/medium/time/date/place/THING you may be a part of at this current moment. which isn't actually really a moment at all, but i digress.

these sounds are literally our way of reaching out to the World; we're not trying to make statements on music, establish ourselves in a scene, generate money, compete with other like-minded artists, or anything of the kind. we are here doing the only thing we know how to do, and are doing our best to honor and respect the sounds that WE have within us whenever we get together and record. what else can i say?

so i implore whomever views these pages to share your sounds, send links, pics, comments of all kinds - anything and everything. that's what Chiasma was built for. it is ALL welcomed here. i guess i just wanted to overtly say this.
