So ya, Jory and I did the singer/songwriter competition at Humphrey's last night. There were a lot of really talented people there for sure! For the first time live, I sang my newest song "Unspoken" and the crowd seemed to like it (at least we got a ton of applause and hollerin'. We found out this morning that we took 4th place. I hope we get selected to go to the finals in December. If not it was just another great night trying on new music. Actually trying out new music is like trying on new shoes, either it really fits fine or you got move on to the next pair!
Sunday 11/8 is the big show at Anthology! It is the hot spot for music in San Diego. Last year I attended the Photocharity Gala and the music, the acoustics, and the venue was awesome! The whole event was totally moving, as I watched the kids from the Storefront talk about their experiences on the street.
