John K. is banned from attending future Super Bowls when NE plays. Unrelated topic: You picked a fine campus in Boston for your stand up tour. Hope that went well.

After going undefeated for the entire season, we lost the superbowl. Go figure. But yes, we will get through this.

On the bright side of things, the Yankees still suck and probably won't be buying another WS appearance anytime soon while the defending WS Champs should be winning their 3rd in 5 yrs. The Celts will have a good shot at World Title 17 while the Knicks will have a good shot of getting a high lottery pick (or did they trade this year's away too for another scrub?). And technically the Giants don't even play in NY and the people in Jersey desperately need ANYTHING to cheer for.

That sucked. I guess I just didn't think it would happen. The Pats had a hell of a season though and that can't be taken away from them. BJ - we have left over Sweet Tomatoes pizza and plenty of beer here in Newton Corner if you are interested ;)

Best of luck with everything with the strike this week.

Yes we will...coming from a Pats fan in Cali. And I'm not on the bandwagon: I've watched the Pats out here since Bledsoe was on the team. Now I'm surrounded by the damn Giant fans that have all of a sudden come out of the woodworks. Hey, the Pats still won 18 games. Tom Brady is STILL the league MVP. They may not be perfect, but they have a lot to be proud of.

Apparently, the curse wasn't reversed, it just slept through its 2004 alarm, staggered out of bed yesterday, panicked about being late for work, threw on its clothes, and rushed out of the house - only in its confusion, it showed up at the wrong office.

I have an ir/rational hatred for "dominant" teams so I was rooting for the Giants. The last quarter made for a great game though.

I am hangin by a thread. I am past the anticipation mark for my two most favorite shows, The Office and Prisonbreak. I am certain that I will continue to watch both shows once they're up and airing but by the time the shows appear, I might be basking in the joys of spring.

Broken hearted through-and-through. My office is on the 50th floor, and I'm frankly surprised that nobody has jumped yet. I'm just glad that it's so miserable outside that I can't look down and see the nothingness where a victory parade should have been. Alas.

I really didn't have a horse in this race, but a part of me wanted to see the Pats go perfect. I also like Tom Brady, seems like a good guy. All I can say is, wait til next year and I hope the cowboys whoop 'em all. :-)

I can't even talk about this. A perfect season essentially lost in the last thirty-five seconds of the game ... still makes me nauseated. I wore my Pats hat to bed that night. The Giants can suck it, and I feel I can make that incredibly mature statement rather officially, as I have lived in both New York and Boston. :-P Guess we'll just have to kick ass and take names again next year.
