So it's time, time for me to get on the blog writing tip and relay the tour stories, which this time, I must say, are a little lackluster.  In that we had no law enforcement run-ins, no hospital stays, though the illegal behavior and drunkenness was not curtailed at all.  I'm going to get through as much as possible right now, in an attempt to speed along the day and hopefully to not punch this client that keeps circling my desk.

On the way to the show on this night we found out that the Ann Arbor maniacs had ok'd us for a show at their house on Friday.  I will explain more when I get to tomorrow, but let's just say it put a nice spin on the evening, thereby informing us that we were in fact leaving the next day instead of possibly Saturday.  Down to the wire folks, that's just how we roll.

So we played with Skinks and Human Brains and it's been said that while no one blew anyone else off the stage, that solid performances were handed in by all three bands, I'm not so sure.  I know Skinks are more and more awesome each time I see them, the Brains?  What the fuck can anyone say about the Human Brains?  I've heard there may be some recording in their future and damn it I hope that's true.  I still rock "Horribilism" on a near weekly basis.

Lots of friends came out for this show and tried their best to rock til the end, and on a Thursday night I commend you all for that.  I don't remember a lot about the show, the specifics are hazy, in that I am prone to consume the spirits and I didn't take any notes cause "it's our Pgh release and I'm sure I'll remember everything".  Haha.

I got the silkscreening done before the show so there wasn't any post-show panicked screening, for which I am thankful.  I took Friday off from work anyway, though I probably could have gone in for at least part of the day.  So I kicked around town getting everything together to leave, and totally forgetting to send KM his birthday present.  The punchline to that?  I just sent it this past Monday.  Slacker.
