Meat The Fab Gore - Pall, Jaw, Dingo and Gorge - known as the #1 undead britpop zombie group, The Zombeatles.

Originally formed as a seasonal creation, the zombified re-animation of the Fab Gore played Halloween parties at the High Noon Saloon in 2004 and 2005. Come the following summer, the group shot a music video for the song "A Hard Day's Night of the Living Dead," a celebration of the Fab Gore and homage to their living Liver-Pool-ian antecedents that was subsequently posted online for the world to see. More Halloween performances followed that year and the next.

Meanwhile, the video found a fan in Rob Zombie, and the rock star turned movie producer selected it in October 2007 as one among a dozen of his favorite online independent horror shorts for a Halloween season promotion on YouTube. Horror fans followed, the video went viral, and soon the band found itself in the first throes of Zombeatlemania. The fun couldn't end there, though.

Enter Scottish zombie comedian Angus MacAbre who visualized another round of on-screen stardom for The Zombeatles. Meeting with the band last spring, the group of undead aficionados unearthed the idea of a mockumentary rockumentary that recast the story of The Beatles in an undead world.

Titled The Zombeatles: All You Need Is Brains, this short film was written and directed by Gordon, and shot and edited by Madison filmmaker Ben Wydeven. Running a very television-friendly 22 minutes in length, the mockumentary is presented in the format similar to an episode of Behind the Music, the long-running VH1 biographical series that followed the stories of musicans and bands across the ups and downs of their careers. MacAbre serves as host of this particular program, which couples his narration with commentary by other undead music notables and stylized "archival" footage of the band in action to tell a tale about the fall and rise of, arguably, the greatest zombie band ever to shamble on stage.

SUGAR TOWN,
A night of lady rockers and DJ’s hosts a record release party for Radio Eris and Boston/Philly band Lovewhip

RADIO ERIS (Record Release for “Broadcast Muse”)
http://www.myspace.com/radio5eris
[Six] albums in, Philadelphia's fringe-y Radio Eris still aren't worrying about being accessible or smooth or, at their most far-out, even intelligible. They remain a happily insular troupe that once described their sound as "psychedelic garage poetry art punk rock." That still pretty much sums it up, considering they come off like Bardo Pond one minute and like the Raincoats the next. Formed when sound engineer Matt Stevenson and poet Lora Bloom began pooling their equally creepy output, Radio Eris grew to encompass guitarist Dan Baker, drummer Lisa Sunshine and a theremin-wielding multi-instrumentalist known as Kenny the Extremist. (Each member maintains plenty of solo work on the side.) With Stevenson juggling bass and keys and manning the production side of things, the band's swampy post-psych has continued to simmer and fester over the course of several overlooked albums. (Doug Wallen, PW)

BRAT BANGS (All female punk band from Philly)

Formerly "Normal," Natalie is the sister of Lydia Giordano from Surgeon. Their father is jazz drummer Steve Giordano. Influences: The Lunachicks, Hole, The Pixies, The Breeders, Distillers, Bikini Kill, Rancid.

LOVEWHIP (Boston/Philly)
www.myspace.com/lovewhip
Lovewhip is dance music. The Boston Globe exclaims “Lovewhip has a celebratory and upbeat feel that has kept crowds dancing everywhere they play!” Part of Boston’s underground but up-and-coming electro scene, Lovewhip creates a live show that is rooted in fun with the passionate vocals and dance moves of the “soulful electro-rock diva” (-Boston Phoenix) Erin Harpe a.k.a. Empress Erin. Able to get any room going by shaking her infamous booty, she also rips out screaming electric guitar riffs as she taunts and teases the crowd. Building on influences as diverse as Blondie, Beck, Sean Paul, Missy Elliot, the B52’s and the Cars, Lovewhip has created a sound that people go crazy for.
